Community Guidelines

These guidelines help keep Scoopler a safe and welcoming place for everyone. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, or account suspension.

Zero Tolerance

The following result in immediate account termination: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), terrorist content, content promoting violence against individuals or groups, and doxxing.

Prohibited Content

This content is not allowed anywhere on Scoopler.

  • •Adult or sexually explicit content in public areas (scoops, hubs, chat)
  • •Graphic violence, gore, or content glorifying violence
  • •Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability
  • •Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of individuals
  • •Terrorism or content from designated terrorist organizations
  • •Content promoting self-harm or suicide
  • •Illegal goods or services (drugs, weapons, fraud)
  • •Malware, phishing, or other security threats
  • •Spam or misleading commercial content

Respectful Interaction

Treat other users with respect and dignity.

  • •No personal attacks, name-calling, or insults
  • •No sharing others' private information without consent
  • •No coordinated harassment campaigns
  • •No creating accounts to evade bans
  • •No impersonating other users, public figures, or organizations
  • •Disagree constructively without attacking the person

Authenticity & Accuracy

Be honest and transparent in your content.

  • •Don't spread dangerous misinformation about health, safety, or elections
  • •Clearly label satire, parody, or opinion pieces
  • •Don't manipulate media to mislead (deepfakes, misleading edits)
  • •Cite sources for factual claims when possible
  • •Don't claim false affiliations or credentials

Intellectual Property

Respect others\' creative work and copyrights.

  • •Don't post content you don't have rights to share
  • •Credit original creators when sharing or remixing
  • •Respond to valid copyright takedown requests
  • •Don't use Scoopler to distribute pirated content

Sensitive Content

Some content requires extra care and context.

  • •Use content warnings for potentially disturbing content
  • •News coverage of violence should provide context, not glorify
  • •Discussions of suicide/self-harm should focus on support and resources
  • •Educational content about sensitive topics should be clearly framed

Private Library

Your private library has different rules.

  • •You may save content for personal reference, including adult content
  • •Content saved privately is your responsibility
  • •Flagged adult content will be labeled but accessible to users 18+
  • •You cannot publish or share flagged adult content publicly

Enforcement

We use a combination of automated systems, user reports, and human review to enforce these guidelines.

Strike System

  • 1st strike: Warning
  • 2nd strike: Warning + 24h restriction
  • 3rd strike: 7-day suspension
  • 4th strike: 30-day suspension
  • 5th strike: Permanent ban

Reporting

Use the report button on any content to flag violations. False or abusive reports may result in action against your account.

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed in error or your account was wrongly suspended, you can appeal the decision by contacting us at [email protected]

Include your username, the content or action in question, and why you believe the decision was incorrect.
